Ender Hopper
UtilityCraft adds four upgraded hoppers that go beyond what vanilla hoppers can do — pulling, pushing, dropping, and vacuuming items with faster speeds and configurable filters.
The Four Hoppers

| Mechanic Hopper | Pulls items from above and outputs them to the side or below — like a vanilla hopper, but faster and filterable. |
| Mechanic Upper | The reverse hopper — pulls items from below and pushes them up or to the side. |
| Mechanical Dropper | Drops items into the world in the direction it faces. Great for feeding mobs or moving items into specific spots. |
| Ender Hopper | Vacuums up dropped items within a configurable radius. Perfect for mob farms and item collection. |
How They Work
Mechanic Hopper & Mechanic Upper
These work like an enhanced vanilla hopper:
- Place them adjacent to a container or machine.
- They automatically pull items from one side and output to the other.
- The Mechanic Upper reverses the direction — it pulls from below instead of above.
Both can optionally pull from Minecarts (Chest Minecarts and Hopper Minecarts) that are nearby, togglable in their settings.
Mechanical Dropper
- Faces a direction when placed.
- Drops items from its inventory into the world in that direction.
- Useful for feeding items into specific areas or automated disposal.
Ender Hopper
- Picks up all dropped items within a configurable pickup radius.
- Has an ON/OFF toggle and a radius slider in its settings.
- Ideal for mob grinders, crop farms, or any setup that produces scattered drops.
Speed Upgrades
All four hoppers benefit from Speed Upgrades:

Filter Upgrades
Adding a Filter Upgrade to any mechanical hopper unlocks item filtering:
- Switch between Whitelist (only allow specific items) and Blacklist (block specific items) modes.
- Add or remove items from the filter list.
- Filters apply to all operations — pulling, outputting, and minecart interaction.
