Liquified Aetherium is the fluid form of Ascendant's prestige metal line. It is used less like a bulk industrial liquid and more like a precision fluid for high-end machines and specialist recipes.
If Aetherium Ingots are the crafted metal, Liquified Aetherium is the form you keep around for advanced processing.

How to make Liquified Aetherium
Liquified Aetherium is made in the Liquifier.
Ascendant currently provides two native routes:
- 1 Aetherium Ingot → 1000 mB Liquified Aetherium
- 4 Aetherium Shards → 1000 mB Liquified Aetherium
The ingot route can also return Obsidian as a bonus byproduct, but the shard route is usually the more economical way to fill a tank.
What Liquified Aetherium is used for
Catalyst Weaver recipes
The Catalyst Weaver uses Liquified Aetherium in specialist conversion work.
Its native fluid recipe turns Crying Obsidian Dust and other catalysts into Stabilized Obsidian Dust, consuming 250 mB of Liquified Aetherium per craft.
Duplicator fuel fluid
The Duplicator is built around Liquified Aetherium as its base working fluid.
That means the fluid is not just a one-off recipe ingredient; it is part of the machine's duplication runtime and long-form cloning loops.
Capsule logistics
Like Ascendant's other advanced fluids, Liquified Aetherium can be packed into capsules for transport and storage.
Practical notes
- If you are liquefying Aetherium specifically for machine use, 4 shards per bucket is usually the smarter route than melting finished ingots.
- Liquified Aetherium is best treated as a precision machine fluid, not a general-purpose industrial liquid.
- It pairs naturally with advanced Catalyst Weaver and duplication setups, so many factories benefit from a dedicated tank for it.
