Titanium

Titanium is the structural metal of Ascendant Technology. It appears earlier and more often than Aetherium, and it quickly becomes the material you rely on for machines, transport parts, plates, and durable gear.
If Aetherium feels like a prestige line, Titanium feels like the backbone of industrial expansion.

How to obtain Titanium
Mine Deepslate Titanium Ore
Titanium starts in the world as Deepslate Titanium Ore.
- It generates in the Overworld between roughly Y -48 and Y -32.
- It is much more common than Aetherium, making it the more practical metal for large builds.
- Breaking the ore gives Raw Titanium, not finished ingots.
Without special fortune scaling, the base drop is modest; with better fortune, the raw yield climbs sharply.
Sieve for Titanium Chunks
Titanium also has a machine-friendly alternative source.
- Crushed Cobbled Deepslate can yield Titanium Chunks at 10% chance with tier 4 requirements.
- Those chunks can then be crushed into Raw Titanium.
That makes Titanium one of the easiest Ascendant metals to automate once your crushing and sieving loops are online.
Smelt or burn it into ingots
After that, refinement is straightforward.
- Raw Titanium → Titanium Ingot
- Deepslate Titanium Ore → Titanium Ingot in the Industrial Burner (wiki page pending)
- standard smelting recipes also exist for the ore line
Compared to Aetherium, Titanium follows a much more familiar ore-to-metal path.
Press ingots into plates
Titanium becomes far more valuable once you start pressing it.
- 2 Titanium Ingots → 1 Titanium Plate
That plate form is one of the most important machine-building materials in the add-on.
What Titanium is used for
Titanium is everywhere in Ascendant's industrial tier.
- full Titanium armor and tool progression
- advanced tools such as the Hammer, Paxel, and AIOT
- Titanium Mesh and Titanium Fishing Net
- Titanium Conveyor variants for movement infrastructure
- Titanium Plates for a large number of advanced machine recipes
- Overclock Relay and several superior-machine craft paths
Titanium tools and gear can also be repaired with Titanium Ingots or Titanium Plates, which gives the plate form value both in construction and in maintenance.
Forms and variants

- Titanium Chunk — sieve output that leads into the crushing chain.
- Raw Titanium — the main mined form from Titanium ore.
- Titanium Ingot — the standard refined metal for crafting.
- Titanium Plate — the machine-grade version used in many advanced block recipes.
- Titanium Nugget — the compact breakdown form for storage and recipe conversions.
- Titanium Dust — part of the resource family, though less central than raw, ingot, and plate forms in current progression.
Practical notes
- If you are expanding machines, treat Titanium Plate as the form that matters most.
- If you are still building your resource network, Titanium is the safer metal to scale in bulk before pushing hard into Aetherium.
- Titanium is best understood as Ascendant's industrial workhorse: dependable, craft-heavy, and deeply tied to machine construction.
