Magmator

Basic Magmator Render

The Magmator generates Dorios Energy (DE) by consuming liquid fuels such as lava.
It is a mid-game alternative to the Furnator, providing a more consistent energy source for automated systems.

Once supplied with fuel, it will continuously convert it into energy until the tank is empty, offering a hands-free energy generation method.

Energy Production & Storage Capacity

The Magmator converts lava into DE at very high speeds.
Each Lava Bucket provides 100,000 DE, and higher tiers increase both energy generation rate and storage capacity.

TierRate (DE/t)Energy Capacity (DE)Lava Storage (mB)
Basic50 DE/t80k DE8,000 mB
Advanced200 DE/t320k DE32,000 mB
Expert800 DE/t1.28M DE128,000 mB
Ultimate5,000 DE/t8M DE800,000 mB

Each tier increases the conversion speed and efficiency, allowing the Magmator to power larger setups efficiently.

Feeding Lava to the Magmator

The Magmator requires lava to operate.
There are two main ways to provide fuel:

1. Manual Interaction

Players can manually insert Lava Buckets or Lava Balls directly into the Magmator.
This method is simple and effective for early-game testing or small setups.

2. Fluid Transport Systems

For automated fueling, connect the Magmator to Fluid Pumps or Fluid Extractors using Fluid Pipes.

Fluid Pump:
Fast and ideal for high-demand setups. It can extract lava from Fluid Tanks, Crucibles, or natural lava source blocks.

Fluid Extractors:
Slightly slower but more flexible. Multiple extractors can pull from different sources, making them useful for modular or compact systems.

Magmator UI

Magmator Interface

The interface includes:

  • Fluid Tank Display – shows the amount of stored lava.
  • Energy Bar – displays the current DE level.
  • Progress Bar – indicates how much of the current lava batch has been consumed.
  • Output Flow – transfers stored energy to nearby machines or batteries automatically.
